VINCI Energies acquires SE Contracting

VINCI Energies focuses on further growth in Belgium with the acquisition of SE Contracting, specialized in innovative industrial processes in mechanics and piping.

VINCI Energies, the VINCI subsidiary specializing in energy, and information and communication technology, has acquired SE Contracting the 29th of November. The company is specialized in Mechanical Construction and Piping for process installations. It proposes innovative technical solutions for the storage, dosing, measuring, mixing and distribution of liquids. The company was created in 1976, has its headquarters in Eke near Ghent and employs 40 people.

SE Contracting is active in various sectors. Since the 1970’s we have been active mainly in the food sector, but also in the chemical- & textile sector and paper & cardboard. A thorough process knowledge and the creativity of our own engineering department is a solid foundation in our projects”, says Luc Eeckman, Manager of SE Contracting. “The integration within VINCI Energies Belgium will enlarge our customer base and is an important step in our further development.”

“The acquisition of SE Contracting is part of our growth strategy. It means an important reinforcement of our position in the above mentioned sectors. We are always looking for synergies with our existing activities and this acquisition is therefore a perfect addition to the knowledge and expertise we have with Actemium in the Food & Beverage sector. It will enable us also to enter new segments such as meat, vegetables and frozen food industries”, explains Marc Lemaire, Managing Director of VINCI Energies Belgium.

SE Contracting will remain an autonomous company within the Industry & Software Solutions division of VINCI Energies Belgium.

“Our mission is to be a partner of our industrial customers in optimizing their production equipment and to guide them in the transformation towards Industry 4.0. Thanks to the complementary expertise of SE Contracting, we will now, even more than before, be able to be a unique partner for our customers offering totally integrated solutions”, says Luc Clabout, Managing Director of the division Industry & Software Solutions of VINCI Energies Belgium.
